VIENNA, Austria — 23 December 2025 — Community volunteers linked to “A Drug-Free World” Austria are expanding outreach in Vienna, speaking with youth, families and educators via public information points and event-based activities. Led locally by Gabriele Toker, the initiative uses “Truth About Drugs” materials to present straightforward information on commonly abused substances, including the ongoing debate around cannabis, often cited as Europe’s most commonly used illicit drug. A short report is available via a Scientology Europe report.
Organisers say, the Vienna activities focus on early prevention, including at large public gatherings such as the Donauinselfest, while also supporting teachers seeking prevention tools for schools. Ivan Arjona, Scientology’s news eu settlement scheme representative to the EU, OSCE, Council of Europe and the United Nations, said: “Reliable, early information helps young people make free and responsible choices—supporting both community well-being and European civic values.”
